Astro released their latest album Winter Dream on February 22, 2017, continuing the theme of season related albums.  This album wasn’t promoted like a normal album was since it was intended as a fan dedication album.

The album opens up with “Should’ve Held On”.  This track is the perfect winter song, with the lyrics discussing how people grow with time and want to go back to how things were.  The song is an easy listen with a steady beat, smooth transition between vocals and rap, and light piano notes chiming in the background.  “Cotton Candy”, while not named with a winter theme, has a very winter theme with chiming bells in the background.  The song is playful and cute, not to mention extremely catchy.  When the chorus hits, you’d definitely find yourself smiling along with the song and bobbing your head. “You & Me” is the thank you song Astro made for their fans, the Arohas.  The song is so sweet, in sound and lyrics. The hook in this song will stay with you for hours.

I’ve not listened to much by this group before, and I can’t even begin to fathom why.  They’ve got such a sweet sound that they’re quickly going to make their way up to the top of my favorites list.  This album was the perfect album to dedicate to fans because it had such a loving, sweet sound.
